My name is Joanna. I’m a Nutritional Science graduate student and a mom to a very busy two year old. During my time at school, I’ve focused on children’s nutrition and how to help families raise healthy eaters. I’ve learned a lot along the way, and I’m passionate about sharing my knowledge to help families bring the fun back into mealtime.
Through my studies, I have learned that one of the best ways to foster healthy eating habits in children is by bringing them into the kitchen. I love cooking with my daughter and nieces, so I created “Raised On Veggies” as a place to share recipes and cooking activities that have been a success in our home. All the recipes are vegetarian and can be easily made vegan or customized to your family’s individual tastes.
